I have some reservations about this brand. After I bought my Taw backpack, they sent me a link to share my thoughts, which I did, but it never showed up on their site. I’m just copying it from the email they sent me to confirm my review. I even tried reposting it, thinking I messed up, but no luck there either. So, here’s my current take along with the original review. Initially, I would’ve given it four stars, but now I’m down to three for the backpack itself. The hassle with the review process cost them another star.

Everything from my first review still stands, but I’ve noticed that the internal lining is becoming a bit looser over time. This makes it trickier to quickly access items since the pockets are getting in the way, even when they’re empty.

I wouldn’t suggest getting this bag.

I’ve been using this backpack for a few months and overall, I’m pretty satisfied. The material feels quite durable, and I really dig the design. The main compartment is a tad narrower than I thought it would be, but the overall size is what I expected. However, there are a few minor issues that bring it down a notch for me.

1. The lining in the main compartment is only secured at the top, so it’s completely loose inside. This can make packing a bit tricky if the internal pockets are filled first, as they cause the lining to sag into the bag, making it hard to see inside.

2. The straps can dig in a bit after wearing it for a long stretch.

3. I’m not entirely convinced about the durability of the magnetic buttons: one part of the plate that keeps the front pocket closed came off almost right away (unless it was never attached). The pocket is still secure since it zips, but it’s definitely not ideal.

My first thoughts are really positive. This bag looks fantastic and is super practical. Sadly, it tore after just a few weeks of regular use, with the handle coming apart from the main part. I've filled out a bunch of web forms and sent emails, but no one has gotten back to me. Seems like the 'guarantee' is just a myth. I even took it upon myself to get it fixed, which shows I do like the bag, but it's pretty disappointing. Even though it's a nice bag, I wouldn't purchase another one and can't suggest it to others.

A few weeks back, we ordered a bag to be sent to Australia during the Royal Mail strike. When it didn’t show up, I reached out to Kovered, and they were genuinely worried. Given the situation, they asked us to hang tight a bit longer. When it still didn’t arrive, they promptly sent out another one through a courier. This one showed up just a week later! Surprisingly, the first bag made it the very next day after being in transit for 7 weeks. The person who received the bag is thrilled with this top-notch gift, and we’re super pleased with the attention and fantastic customer service from the Kovered team, especially considering the tough circumstances they were facing. I've been using my bag for close to 2 years now and haven't had any issues. One of the zippers started acting up, so I reached out to customer support with some proof, and they sent me a replacement bag within the week. I recently picked up this bag and wow, it has so many compartments! For its size, it’s an incredibly handy bag that’s a breeze to pack and unpack, especially the main part which opens up a bit like a suitcase. All this while looking like a stylish, dare I say, hipster bag. I initially got one for my trips to the office, thanks to the numerous pockets and separate sections, but I’ve just snagged a second one for everyday use because I liked it that much. I just wish there was a color that sat between navy and black, but that’s hardly a complaint.

I've gotten my hands on two bags from this brand, and I gotta say, they’re both awesome, made with sturdy materials and looking pretty stylish.

Had a bit of a hiccup with the delivery of the second bag, but Abbi was amazing with the customer support, truly going the extra mile (she sent a replacement for next day delivery, reached out to the courier, and checked the delivery status first thing Monday morning).
